Welcome
The teachers welcome the children and help them hang up their backpacks and coats and get ready for their preschool day.

Children’s Choice
The children can make choices as to what they enjoy doing during this time. Areas of play include: the block corner, water play and nature station, messy arts and crafts, puzzles, dress-up and play kitchen, or a comfy book nook.

Teacher Directed Learning
Theme-based, age appropriate content is taught in an engaging way that stimulates children’s natural curiosity about the world around them and incorporates early math, science and literacy skills.

Together Time
We sing our hello song together on the big rug, notice who is here, notice the weather, listen to children’s ideas about what they learned and who they played with, share and recognize each child’s efforts, and engage in a fun group learning activity

Snack Time
Children wash their hands and then sit down for a healthy snack and lively conversation

Story Time
As children get dressed for outside, they can enjoy a story read by their teacher

Outdoor Time
Children spend time outdoors in our expansive yard and gardens. Children are building, discovering, collecting, and tending the children’s garden. Teachers engage the children in fun outdoor games and activities.

Good-Bye
Teachers say good-by to the children and dismiss them to their parent or caregiver.
